Every Journey Begins With a Question

My journey began with questions about family, history, faith, identity, and purpose.

Growing up in Chicago, I experienced both the beauty and the hardships of life. Poverty, broken relationships, betrayal, music, faith, and perseverance all became part of the foundation that shaped my character. Every obstacle became a lesson, and every lesson strengthened my commitment to continue searching for truth, understanding, and purpose.

Over time, I realized that one of life's greatest journeys is not discovering who we are—it is remembering.

WHY LAWIN & DRAWIN

Lawin & Drawin was born from that journey.

It began as a commitment to protect my community, seek understanding, and carry light wherever life led me. Along the way, I've had the honor to learn from remarkable mentors, elders, teachers, artists, and everyday people whose wisdom challenged me to grow beyond my own perspective.

Those experiences taught me that knowledge has little value unless it is shared with humility, integrity, and a sincere desire to leave the world better than we found it.
